Thank you, Ashley, for your kind comment ππββοΈ but to admit it was previously not a real plan. However, suddenly things came together, and I wanted to provide others with the possibility of that “special” experience of upwalk walking taking the heartbeat to a near-maximum, and even more so (indoor and outdoor) up to wonderful views from higher altitudes πποΈποΈ
I can feel the chill in the air. I hate the shorter days.
I like the photos, Ashleaf, and the hokku describes the situation well. The solstice is right around the bend…bringing more light, more warmth, and the beginning of a new year, a new revolution around our source of life!
I’m ready for the solstice and hope you will like it. I wish it was colder Edo-san as it might kill off the virus’ going around here! It might also help stop the rain! There’s a lot of water up in the atmosphere and I believe another giant iceberg has just left Antarctica!
Dear Marina, thank you for your good wishes. Thankfully, we’ve had a couple of rain free days so fingers crossed the river will not overflow its banks again. Wishing you a magical December ππ ππββοΈ
(I hope google translate has worked properly)
That is how this season looks over here as well…
…but I still would like to walk down by that river. Despite the gloomy atmosphere, the scenery still looks lovely.
As long as itβs the flood plain that floods.
Indeed! Thank you for your visit here. πΉπββοΈ
A grim time of year, Ashley. Lights on in the middle of the day, lashing rain, and the wind roaring around the chimney. The solstice approaches.
It won’t be much fun for Santa if these warm winters continue. ππββοΈ
Thank you, Ashley, for reminding me how bad winter is, and that is just the beginning!
I can hardly wait for the spring, my favorite time of the year!
Joanna
Dear Joanna, at least you are looking forward! Thanks for your visit here. πΉπββοΈ
You are always more than welcome, dear Ashley!

Grim indeed, Ashley. Lashing with rain here now, and has been for days.

Your photos are visual haikus in themselves. What part of the world is this, Ashley?
