  1. Thank you, Ashley, for the first sign of spring!

You haven’t told me which day March! My daughter was born on the 15 and the second one a year later on the 21, and she is Aries.

  2. Thank you, Joanna for visiting my blog. I did note the date on your blog but in case you missed it there, it’s Feb 25th. πŸ€—πŸ˜˜πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

  3. Crocuses are always a welcome sign, Ashely. Mine aren’t open yet, but the miniature daffodils are out at my doorstep.

    1. Thanks, Michael for dropping by. I found some Muscari in full flower hidden under a shrub, but in the lanes I walk there are few signs of change. If it would stop raining I’d walk a bit further! πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

  4. The idea of the sunlight entering your eyes to bathe your spirits is beautiful! I like the contrast in your hokku, the dull day is transformed with the coming of the crocuses in your garden! Beautiful words, ideas, and images, Fraxinusan! Keep moving!

  5. Those first harbingers of spring’s arrival are so rejuvenating for the soul, Ashley. It’s impossible not to feel at least a little bit of hope. Always a delight to read your posts, my friend! Have a good weekend. 😊

    1. Thank you, Andrea, lovely to hear from you. Crocus’ are such bright garden gems. We need to plant more of them for next year. πŸ€—πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

  6. Beautiful crocuses, Ashley! Incidentally spring started here on the day of Basant Panchami, which incidentally fell this year on the Valentine’s Day.

  7. In the northern hemisphere spring must arrive earlier or later depending on where you live. Thank you, Kaushal, for visiting my post. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  8. Oh, so beautiful! I only sowed some seeds this week so I will not see results for some time. But I am looking forward to see some growth.

  9. Every new year I look forward to the first flowers. I love them all – the snowdrops, the winter aconites, the crocuses. It’s a pleasure to look at them.
Ashley, I wish you all the best….

    1. Isn’t it just the best time of year, even if we return to some cold weather for a spell? Thank you, Rosie for your visit here. πŸ€—πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

  10. What lovely photos and haikus, Ashley! I imagine you can coax any stubborn plant to grow for you 🌸☺️. And I’m loving the latest magic wands! πŸ™‚

  11. Haha, Sunra I wish! Perhaps I should wave those wands over the garden & see if there is some magic in them. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦― oops, that’s blown it, that’s my walking stick 🀣 Have a great weekend πŸ€—πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ
