  1. Hey Fraxi, aka Wu Xing Master, Nice drawing, Ash! Very visceral. I find it interesting that Kiki Smith’s recent works are similar to hokku in that both depict the human condition in relationship to nature.

    1. Dear Edo-san, thank you for these wonderful comments. It was a real challenge in that I wasn’t sure which way to go until a couple of days before submission! Phew! I’m no expert in Wu Xing but as you know my Qi Gong practice has opened my mind to many wonderful things!

    1. Dear Kerfe, not knowing much about her had me in a spin for too long and it was only in the last couple of days that it “clicked” into place. A rich subject indeed and I hope I can find more ways to add my own marks to further artwork. 🤗💐😊

  2. This is fascinating art, indeed, Ashley. All the pieces by the various artists are otherworldly and extraordinary. Your piece superb, good sir. I hope you continue to explore graphic arts in addition to your sublime poetry. Wonderful stuff! 😊

    1. Dear Mike, thank you for your wonderful comments. I will certainly continue with my artwork. However, my little verses will never match your powerful poems. 🙏😊

  3. Oh Ashley, how wonderful! I love Kiki Smith’s art. It is good to be reminded of her and even better to see your art. You look like you have been so inspired by this kick around 👌👏👏🪻💟

    1. Thank you Morag for your lovely comments. I have to admit that I struggle to come up with ideas for artwork and the K-A has been great in helping me move forward. 🤗💐🙋‍♂️
