Bio: I love walking and writing (poems and hokku) and trees and reading and art........and life! And now that I've retired from work, I love these things even more! I am a husband, father and grandfather and now a great grandfather! πββοΈ
How about a follow up, serial, on About π ?
Thank you Marina. I might just do that although since retirement, and I know this might sound odd, but I have never been busier!
Super. I believe you, though π
We have similar interests. Retirement sounds wonderful! Pleasure meeting you. Looking forward to following along.
Wonderful! I look forward to seeing you there!
Great to find you, close by ish and through Sabishi. Yes, I have found retirement from work to my own interests and family very busy and fulfilling. Rejuvenation rather than retirement as one blogger, Lillian says. And in Spanish it is ‘jubilado’, yes, jubilant I think is close!
Wow, Georgina, thank you! ‘Jubilado’ it is, although there have been difficulties especially regarding health however, we are old enough now to be able to put these things into perspective, I think (?). Lovely to meet you here! π
Yes, perspectives needed but health too.
Thanks for following and lots of succes with your blog π
Kind regards,
Rudi
Thanks, Rudi π
Are you the same Ashley that’s been around for a million years? You commented on my
‘About’ page around then and I just re-read it a bit ago. Thank you dear. You are still
if not more of a very sweat lady. Bless your heart!
Dear Eddie, yes, it was me, however, I’m no lady! ππββοΈ My mother’s favourite film was Gone With The Wind and that’s where my name came from, although watching the film I was never a fan of that character played by Leslie Howard. Bless you Eddie ππββοΈ
How about that!
πππββοΈ
Thanks for the follow π
Glad I came to your about page because I now know that you are male, and I had not even considered that. The only Ashley I know is a lady. Sorry about that! Where is home, please?
My mother’s favourite film was ‘Gone With the Wind’ and that’s where my name came from! My home is Northern Ireland although we lived and worked in southern England for many years.
That’s an answer that made me smile. Good old mums! Sorry to be so nosy. I just like a bit of background π€π
