At the end of October we visited Tollymore Forest Park in County Down. Even if the car park is full of cars, which it was, you can still walk there without meeting many others on the good paths. The following day was Halloween, and so a peaceful walk among the trees was a good place to give thanks to our ancestors; a great time for reflection and a time to allow seeds of renewal to settle in our still warm minds.
Wonderful fall colors and beautiful waters.
It was a lovely morning in the fresh air!
Fantastic shots! What a great place to be able to visit whenever you have the time!
AND it’s under an hour’s drive away! Thanks for your comment.
Beautiful place, particularly with the autumn colours!
It certainly is beautiful and for the first time in ages, I actually saw a Dipper in the river but as I only have a phone-camera the shot was poor.
Preciosos lugares también con colores otoñales! Para mí es la mejor estación del año.
