    1. Yes, but this year will be quieter than I can remember! Just 2 of us! Still, there will be happiness when our daughters’ phone from across the water. Happy Christmas to you David. Keep writing! πŸŽ‹πŸŽ„πŸŽ‹πŸŽ„

  2. I love that photo, Fraxinus, as well as your blog! Thanks for allowing me to visit NI, virtually! Hope you and your family have a great Christmas and enjoy this holiday celebration.

    1. Thank you for your wishes. The Lough Neagh shore can be very peaceful. Warm wishes to you. πŸŽ‹πŸŽ‹πŸŽ‹
Ps. I enjoyed reading Ludovic Janvier’s book (Into the Light) but like eating a huge meal, in the end, I found it overwhelming, almost too much to take in, in one sitting. Maybe I’ll go back and read a few pages at a time.

    1. Dear Andrea, it’s cold here today and the wind (Bella) is blowing hard, so your warm wishes are gladly received. Let’s all hope for a happier healthier new year. Warm wishes to you, keep well, stay safe and I look forward to reading more from you on your own blog soon. πŸ™πŸŽ‹

  3. The British Isles must be a beautiful place, thanks for sharing this picture! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I wish you and your family a healthy and happy 2021 after this difficult year. πŸ™‚

    1. The islands of Britain and Ireland are so beautiful! Christmas was quiet, just 2 of us; I’m sure there were many around the world in the same position but 2021 will bring many changes, including a vaccine to help remove this awful pandemic! I hope you had a good Christmas and are looking forward to the new year. Thank you for dropping by and your comments 😊

    1. Thank you, Sarah! We’re in lockdown again and we’ve also had some very icy weather which has meant not even getting out for our walks. These first days of the New Year have not been as creative as I had hoped but there is plenty of time! Wishing you a happy creative 2021 πŸ’ŒπŸ™

      1. Also in lockdown here, and also not as creative as I’d like to be. πŸ˜‰ But the year is young, we’ll get to it eventually. πŸ˜πŸ’•

    1. The view of the water is Lough Neagh in the middle of Northern Ireland. I live some miles away from its shoreline! Thank you for visiting my blog; such a contrast to your island home! Enjoy your weekend πŸ˜ŠπŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ
