My first “Kick-About” Rorschach #125

Finally, I plucked up the courage to enter Phil Gomm’s Kick-About.  My special thanks goes to Phil for his blast of encouragement, and also to Kerfe, a regular K-A contributor.  The subject for February was Rorschach’s Ink Blots and since I missed the January Kick-About when the subject was Self Portrait, I decided to put the two together.  Follow this link:

  1. very very well done Ashley! the superimposition of the test and the self portraits are a spot on concept – is this something that’s done in psychological studies? if not, they really should incorporate it. again, beautiful work Ashley! Mike

    1. Indeed, Rosaliene, the artwork on the K-A is amazing and it was only with the encouragement of a couple of fellow bloggers that I went ahead 🤗😊.

    1. Dear Kerfe, thank you for you encouragement. Finding a key to begin is problematic for me but with missing the previous K-A it felt right to combine the two. I hope I can continue to contribute. 🤞🤞🤗💐😊

  2. Nice work on ‘The Kick-About’ website, Ashley! Love the name too. Are you thinking of creating something similar on your website? Here’s a Phil Gomm-inspired name for you: ‘Jumpers For Goalposts’

    1. Hi Jason, thank you for your comments here. I doubt that I will make a similar website to the K-A but your suggestion for a title sure made me laugh….🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Perhaps it might suit a knitting blog 🤔🤣

  3. Hey, Ashroot. I liked your creations in the Kick-About, including your hokku. It was a great idea to combine the two assignments. You are very artistic!

    1. Hey Edbirdi, great to hear from you. This was quite a different project, one which I loved and will hopefully continue with. Glad you liked it. I’ll write soon! 👍🥕😊

Haha, that was meant to be a pen, not a carrot! 🖊🖋✒
