Enchanting;
Moving pictures,
Silent movers.
It doesn’t feel like 10 days ago, but the weather has changed as we edge closer to the autumn equinox. The temperature is around 14 °C, and the Atlantic is again throwing another big weather system over these islands. This week, I’ll probably fire up the boiler to warm the house, and outside we’ll start moving the pots into more sheltered parts of the garden.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Ashley
Ashley, I’m glad to hear and see that your butterflies love your garden. Yes, it’s cooled down considerably here too. Have fun and all the best!
Many thanks Friedrich. It’s possible we might have a few warm sunny days but, it is mid September, so I’m not banking on it. 🙏
Enjoy the fall Ashley. Sweet poems and videos.
Thank you Katelon, for your lovely comments. 🤗😊
I’m presently reading a wonderful older book by Mary Alice Monroe. It would be considered women’s lit as it involves transformation and reconciliation for several women. But woven throughout it is information, myths and folklore around Monarch butterflies. The descriptions of their transformation and amazing migration are so vivid, its like you are experiencing it yourself. I highly recommend it. THE BUTTERFLY’S DAUGHTER.
Thank you Katelon, I will look it up. 💐🤗
Same here, Ashley! Rain and wind and more rain! Chilly too!
Joanna
Dear Joanna, thank you. Please stay warm and well. 🤗💌😊
Thank you, dear Ashley, I do my best!

What lovely videos, well the first one is beautiful in your lovely garden.
The winds are truly heavy, yes autumn is coming quickly.
Save your plants from the weather. Enjoy the warmth in the house. 🙏🤗
So enjoyable…relaxing videos, friend!
Thank you Indira for your wonderful comment. 🤗🙏
Lots of showers here and autumn colours emerging. Hope we both get to see a few more butterflies this season.
Thanks Sharon, there are still a few days of sunny weather to come especially when reading your blog. Stay warm and dry. 🤗x😊
Time to batten down the hatches, Fraxinusama! Stay warm!!
Indeed Edo-san, I’m currently in a battle with incoming spiders! They sit on the doorstep waiting for me to open the door. Agh! Hoping things are improving for you 🙏😊
Ashley, how delightful to see so many butterflies in your garden! Strong winds are definitely not safe conditions for these fragile beings.
Thank you Rosaliene, I wonder if you see many butterflies in or around your garden. It is always a pleasure to see them here. 🤗😊
Sad to say, Ashley, it has become rare to see butterflies here in our garden 😦
🙏
We haven’t got the autumn winds yet but it is cooler at night, which I appreciate. And what a lovely garden! (K)
Dear Kerfe, thank you for your lovely comment about our little garden. There really isn’t much to it but quite enough for senior years. 🤗😊
