Butterfly haven? Not for much longer.

Enchanting;
Moving pictures,
Silent movers.

It doesn’t feel like 10 days ago, but the weather has changed as we edge closer to the autumn equinox.  The temperature is around 14 °C, and the Atlantic is again throwing another big weather system over these islands.  This week, I’ll probably fire up the boiler to warm the house, and outside we’ll start moving the pots into more sheltered parts of the garden.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

      1. I’m presently reading a wonderful older book by Mary Alice Monroe. It would be considered women’s lit as it involves transformation and reconciliation for several women. But woven throughout it is information, myths and folklore around Monarch butterflies. The descriptions of their transformation and amazing migration are so vivid, its like you are experiencing it yourself. I highly recommend it. THE BUTTERFLY’S DAUGHTER.

  1. What lovely videos, well the first one is beautiful in your lovely garden.
    The winds are truly heavy, yes autumn is coming quickly.
    Save your plants from the weather. Enjoy the warmth in the house. 🙏🤗

    1. Indeed Edo-san, I’m currently in a battle with incoming spiders! They sit on the doorstep waiting for me to open the door. Agh! Hoping things are improving for you 🙏😊
