Steffi, the town and harbour are very small but worth a visit. After visiting Mount Stewart, instead of going directly to Belfast from Newtownards, head north east to Donaghadee and then travel west to Belfast along the southern shore of Belfast Lough.
Note to self: When in Ireland, next time, take the scenic route along the cost on the way North!
I do hope that we soon can do this, again. Although I love my hometown very much and would not want to live anywhere else, I am missing the Isles. Until we can go back to visit I will enjoy what you share from your “outings” and make notes. 🙂
Soft, soothing grey sky and water.. Last shot with grey tones and specks of orange/red is super.
Thank you. It was also warm with very little wind.
Grey turns a coast like this into a meditation, doesn’t it?!
Thank you, dear Ashley, for sharing your favourite places with us.
Much love,
Steffi
