I always think about this and hope there are more wild things that can be eaten easily. I get incredibly excited when someone says I can eat a leaf or a flower that is not the usual veg or fruit.
There seems to be a craze lately on these islands for foraging for “wild” food: books, courses etc. Maybe it is something you could check out online, locally? Good luck! Keep well and safe! ๐๐
Yes, a field of buttercups is very cheering, Ashley. I am noticing more wild flowers this year, possibly my imagination. I walked a meadow this week that was also painted red with sheep sorrel. I sneezed all the way home with the pollen, but it was worth it. โบ๏ธ๐
