Lovely lines and drawing, Ashley! Love those snowdrops in your picture!
Indira, you are very kind, thank you. I’m only learning and have a long road ahead of me! 🌹🙋♂️
This image is filled with Hope. 🌟✨💫
And that’s what this season is all about. Thank you, Gail 🌹🙋♂️
Of course. 👏👏👏
Superb poem and drawing. Happy springtime, soon.
Thank you, Marina, for your lovely comment. Wishing you happy healthy springtime 🌹🙋♂️
Beautiful hokku and a fantastic drawing of snowdrops, Fraxinus! Happy Spring!!! The first day of spring is freezing and icy here. Stay warm, Ashleaf-sama!
Hi Edo-san, it’s good to hear from you and thank you for your wonderful comments. Here, it is dull and very wet ☂ but the spring flowers will soon be showing themselves and we will be happy to know the circle of life keeps turning 🐢🙋♂️
Wonderful Haiku! It has everything it needs.
Thank you, Friedrich, for your uplifting comment. 🥂 to a great springtime.
This is such a sweet and beautiful drawing and haiku to welcome February, my friend!
Happy Imbolc! Our winter has just began! It was held up elsewhere this year! 😉
Dear Marina, thank you for your lovely comments 🙏 I find drawing a difficult process and think it is because I don’t draw, or paint, enough. The words come first and then it becomes a struggle to come up with the image. I could just take a photograph but I only have my phone and even then I find it too technical (?). Winter does not lose its grip yet! Thank you for visiting my blog 🤗🌹🙋♂️
Whenever this happens [struggling for an image], take lots of scrap papers and loosen up. Just let your hand go wild with no thoughts holding it back. After a while you’ll see images appear like magic! 😉 Get rid of the thoughts! Honestly, they are a nuisance and a blocker to creativity. Trust me! 😉
It’s my pleasure visiting your blog, always!
Marina, thank you for your feedback. I will try this 🤗🌹🌹🤗
Let me know how it went! 😉
I love the first snowdrops. They seem to remind us to keep going, that the light is returning. Nice one, Ashley. I’d forgotten it was Imbolc. February already. 🙂
It is really good to see the return of flowers. There are a few narcissi pushing up through the earth now and soon the warmer colours will return. February, and I’m hopeful again. Thanks for dropping in. It’s always good to hear from you! 🙋♂️
The same to. Thanks.
Thank you for your comment 🙋♂️
Thank you for sharing a lovely drawing and poem! Happy February! 💐 🌼 🏵 🌷 🌺 🌻
Thank you for your visit here and your comment 🌹🙋♂️
I love snowdrops. And that’s a perfect picture. 🙂
Hi Sharon, thank you for your wonderful comments. I’m super critical of any of my artwork so I really appreciate your comment. (I seem to have “lost” you over the last few months so now I can now connect with your blog again). It must be crocus soon and they’ll be good for the Queen Bees if there’s a warm day. 🌹🙋♂️
This is simply delightful!
Thank you Bridgette, for your lovely comment 🌹🙋♂️
I love the perfection of snowdrops! Great picture, lovely words.
Thanks, Josie, for your lovely comments! I’m now looking forward to seeing crocus or narcissus. 🌹🙋♂️
Sencillez perfecta! Preciosa combinación de palabras e imagen.. Un abrazo.
Gracias, Bárbara, por tus lindos comentarios! 🤗🌹🙋♂️
I love your verse & artwork, Ashley, but Spring already?? Much different than what we’re experiencing! (But I’m wishing you a brilliant Springtime!) 🌞
Thank you, Lisa, for your lovely comments. It is always good to hear from you. I’ve just come in from our tiny garden and see that a few of the bulbs I planted in the autumn are pushing through as the earth begins to awaken. I hope you planted a few too! 🌷🌸🙋♂️
How exciting, Ashley! I didn’t plant anything in the Fall. I have purchased my seeds for planting in June, though. (It can freeze or snow here that late in the year.) I feel we, and others who garden, belong to a brotherhood/sisterhood of Earth nurturers. Do you get that feeling as well? 🌞
Thank you, Ashley for your kind wishes with such a beautiful haiku. Picture is also superb. You too have a nice spring season 🙏💐
Thank you, Kaushal, for visiting and for your lovely comments. 🌷🙋♂️
Nice picture and very cute haiku indeed. Spring is coming although flowers haven’t bloomed yet here.
When I see snowdrops I know that spring is not far off. Thank you for your lovely comment 🌸🌷🙋♂️
