Dear Marina, thank you for your lovely comments đ I find drawing a difficult process and think it is because I don’t draw, or paint, enough. The words come first and then it becomes a struggle to come up with the image. I could just take a photograph but I only have my phone and even then I find it too technical (?). Winter does not lose its grip yet! Thank you for visiting my blog đ¤đšđââī¸
Whenever this happens [struggling for an image], take lots of scrap papers and loosen up. Just let your hand go wild with no thoughts holding it back. After a while you’ll see images appear like magic! đ Get rid of the thoughts! Honestly, they are a nuisance and a blocker to creativity. Trust me! đ

I love the first snowdrops. They seem to remind us to keep going, that the light is returning. Nice one, Ashley. I’d forgotten it was Imbolc. February already. đ

How exciting, Ashley! I didn’t plant anything in the Fall. I have purchased my seeds for planting in June, though. (It can freeze or snow here that late in the year.) I feel we, and others who garden, belong to a brotherhood/sisterhood of Earth nurturers. Do you get that feeling as well? đ
